The TLR-1 HL weapon-mounted tactical flashlight features an LED that provides a light output of up to 1000 lm from Streamlight. It is designed for mounting on the Picatinny rail and Glock, Beretta, SIG and S&W pistols. The flashlight is powered by two CR123A batteries. The flat lens allows it to emit a wide beam of light, which makes it easier to identify objects and characters in low-light conditions.
The flashlight's body is made of durable aluminum and has an IPX7 waterproof rating, thanks to the sealing of the housing. The flashlight has a strobe and fixed beam mode, operated by a double-sided wing lever on the rear. The protruding manipulators make it easy to operate with an index finger or thumb.
Control of the device is based on manipulation of the two-sided lever. A single toggle activates the fixed beam mode, while two quick ones activate the strobe mode. To the left, the user must hold the levers to keep the device running, while a shift to the right maintains it until it is manually turned off. The user accesses the power compartment by unhooking the spring-loaded lock and then sliding out the control panel.
The Streamlight TLR-1 HL flashlight comes with adapters to mount it on various mounting rails. Examples include parts for mounting under Glock, Berette 90two, S&W 99/TSW, SIG P320 and Picatinny 1913. Operating time on a power supply consisting of two CR123A batteries is up to 1.5 hours. The range of the projected light beam is up to 283 meters.
