LEOFOTO MA ballheads
The ballheads of the MA series are very interesting for photographers and sport shooters alike. The special fast coupling is suitable for quick release plates according to the Arca-Swiss standard and for Weaver/Picatinny handrails, as found on many modern weapons.
The one-handed operation makes them suitable for all situations where speed is of the essence. Simply open the silver lever and turn or swivel the ballhead in any direction. Close the lever again and your equipment is fixed in place.
Unlike the MA-30, the MA-30L has a quick-release lever and only one small clamping screw for pre-tensioning. This allows the weapon to be removed even more quickly and minimises the risk of accidental release.
A quick release plate is not included in the scope of delivery!
Leofoto uses high-quality 6061-T6 aluminium alloy with magnesium and silicon as alloy components for the metal parts. This corrosion-resistant material is characterised by high strength and good toughness. The yield strength is comparable to that of structural steel. All parts are milled from solid material on state-of-the-art CNC machines and are therefore significantly more stable than cast parts. Leofoto makes no compromises here either !
